Office Hours vary by physician. During the workday, calls will be answered by the physician’s Patient Service Coordinator. During non-office hours (after 4:00pm) calls are handled by the answering service who will contact the covering physician for you. Appointment hours vary by physician. (see below). The best time to call to schedule appointments is Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If you need to cancel an appointment, we request that you let us know as soon as possible. For a laboratory visit only, we request that you notify your physician’s office in advance so that your paperwork will be ready upon your arrival. |

The physicians of Park Medical Associates participate with EHP and BlueCross BlueShield of Maryland (including MPOS and Triple Choice), but are not Preferred Providers (except for Drs. Belitsos and Seifter). The Park Medical physicians do not participate with Medicare or any HMO or commercial insurance company. Park Medical Laboratory is a Participating Provider with Medicare and a Preferred Provider with BlueCross BlueShield of Maryland, Federal BlueShield, and Blue Preferred for blood work, urine and stool evaluation. However, the physicians are all considered Participating, but not Preferred Providers in the Federal BlueShield and BluePreferred networks. The physicians and the lab do not participate with BlueChoice. Specialized testing services sent to an outside reference lab will be billed separately by that testing facility.

The staff at Park Medical will submit all charges to the insurance company or Medicare. If encountering financial difficulties, the patient should let the doctor or patient service coordinator know.
