Welcome to Park Medical Associates, a private multi-specialty medical practice with eleven internists, one with a subspecialty in Endocrinology and one with a subspecialty in Infectious/Lyme Disease. We also have a Gastroenterologist, and an Oncologist. All of our physicians are board certified in their specialties, and all are members of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine faculty with admitting privileges at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Our convenient location provides access to an urgent care center, radiology, physical therapy, a pharmacy, and many Johns Hopkins specialists. Free shuttle service to the Johns Hopkins Hospital east Baltimore campus is available for consultations and diagnostic testing.

Office Hours
Office Hours vary by physician. During the workday, calls will be answered by the physician's Patient Service Coordinator. During non-office hours (after 4:00pm) calls are handled by the answering service who will contact the covering physician for you.

Appointment hours vary by physician. (see below). The best time to call to schedule appointments is Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If you need to cancel an appointment, we request that you let us know as soon as possible. For a laboratory visit only, we request that you notify your physician's office in advance so that your paperwork will be ready upon your arrival.

Insurance
The physicians of Park Medical Associates participate with EHP and BlueCross BlueShield (including MPOS and Triple Choice). The Park Medical physicians do not participate with any HMO or commercial insurance company. The Park Medical physicians do not accept Medicare assignment. Park Medical Laboratory is a Participating Provider with Medicare, EHP, and BlueCross BlueShield for blood work, urine and stool evaluation. The physicians and the lab do not participate with BlueChoice. Specialized testing services sent to an outside reference lab will be billed separately by that testing facility.

Billing
The staff at Park Medical will submit all charges to the insurance company or Medicare. If encountering financial difficulties, the patient should let the doctor or patient service coordinator know.
